Dr. Michael Fowlin

Actor and Psychologist

Michael Fowlin, affectionately known as Dr. Mykee, is a psychologist, actor,
poet, storyteller, and guide who skillfully blends art and scholarship to help
people navigate their complex journeys. He identifies deeply with the raven
as his spirit animal, embracing its role as both a messenger and protector.
This connection shapes his mission to use his talents to inspire
transformation and healing, guiding others toward growth and
understanding.

Dr. Mykee discovered his passion for character development early,
engaging in prank calls and formal stage acting by age 11. Encouraged by
audience responses, he pursued this path with vigor, channeling his gifts
into a broader dream of healing through the arts and academia. He earned
his undergraduate degree from Evangel University, where his involvement
in theater and philosophy shaped his perspective. Later, he obtained a
doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University in 2001, blending
his artistic and academic skills into transformative presentations.

With a dynamic approach, Dr. Mykee has addressed over 2 million people
worldwide. His presentations, tailored to each audience, weave humor,
reflection, and emotional release into powerful narratives on themes such
as mental health, suicide prevention, acceptance, and shared humanity.
Beyond the stage, he leads workshops that empower individuals to turn
personal pain into pearls of collective healing, championing resilience and
community.

Dr. Mykee’s work is a beacon of hope, inspiring others to embrace their
stories and transform challenges into opportunities for growth and
connection.
