I guess I ain't smart, 

Been told if I see something, 

Say something.

I saw a guy wielding a knife, 

So I told the officer what I saw. 

He said, “Thank you, for saying something.”

I guess I ain't smart, 

Been told if I see something, 

Say something.

I saw some ICE on a sunny day, 

So I told the people what I saw. 

They said, “Thank you, for saying something.”

And now, the officers are coming for me. 

They say I had no right to say what I saw.

What should I do?  Where do I run to be free?
